Building Systems, Inc., is a general contracting company with headquarters in Rockford, Illinois. The company specializes in design-build commercial and industrial projects for Customers located primarily in Northern Illinois including the Greater Chicago area, and Southern Wisconsin.

BSI was incorporated on January 16, 1967 and it has operated under the same name and family ownership since that day. BSI has successfully built a reputation for quality work on-time and within budget.

To better service our Customers' BSI maintained membership in the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, the Loves Park/Machesney Park Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Business, and the Rockford Tooling and Machining Association.

BSI's construction management staff is composed of an architect, a civil engineer, project managers and project superintendents. We are prepared to put our experience to work for you to develop your project within your budget and schedule.

BSI believes in community service and supports employee involvement in numerous organizations including Kiwanis International, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), and United Way.

Since its start, BSI has been a Butler Builder.
